TangleTrade Advisors was created by a group of top level, successful, experienced option traders and market researchers. TangleTrade was named after the complex option derivative trading the firm specializes in including sophisticated algorithmic ETF option arbitrage and high level equity option strategies.
The firm is highly adept at locating, researching, and executing on newly developing opportunities in the financial markets as well as investment product creation and execution.

Timothy J. Collins
Principal/ Chief Investment Officer Timothy Collins has worked as a financial adviser since 1999, focusing on portfolio customization, with a concentration on correlation arbitrage and risk-managed growth. He started Collins Capital Advisors in 2007, which has evolved into TangleTrade Management, LLC. TangleTrade is an RIA firm dedicated to formulating customized risk-managed investment strategies for individuals and small businesses. TangleTrade Management now manages the Inception Fund LP and The 140 Fund LP, both focused on pre-IPO shares of high growth technology companies with customized options strategies after the IPO to mitigate risk and enhance returns. Tim specializes in financial derivatives, complex option trading, and technical analysis. As a daily main contributor and one of the most widely read writers on Jim Cramer's RealMoney.com, Mr. Collins shares his daily insights on the markets and trading. Collins is a triple degree graduate of McDaniel College with degrees in Business Administration, Economics and Sociology and is a winner of the Bates Prize for Most Outstanding Male Graduate. Tim also is an outside expert advisor to Proshares and Direxion for the ETF industry. Tim has been on CNBC, Mad Money and The Street.com. Viet Ly
Principal/ Chief Operating Officer Graduated from the University of Washington Business School in 2000, with a finance and marketing concentration. Mentored by Dr. Ava Kamara of Columbia University, in financial derivatives. Viet has over 15 years of market and trading experience successfully trading equity options, and became one of the top traders at a proprietary trading firm at 19. Founder of Dragon Capital Management, a venture capital firm funding and helping create the first touchscreen tablet PC ePods in 1999. Founder of a successful trading, investor social network teaching hundreds of investors how to trade, analyze the markets and locate opportunity. Viet focuses on market research and trading strategy, financial product development and business development. Viet loves spending time with his wife, young daughter and newborn twins. Hiep Ly
Partner/ Biotech Research and Market Analyst Hiep's background and career started in life sciences research as a research assistant at the Department of Genetics and then at the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington with Dr. Scott Wilbur. The University of Washington program is one of the top oncology research programs in the nation. In 2004, Hiep changed course and started working and studying under his brother, Viet, as an independent options trader and insightful research analyst covering biotech companies and the US Markets. Hiep earned his BS in Molecular Biology from the University of Washington. Hiep enjoys playing basketball, football and watching sports. Securities Licensed. |

Noah Kaufman MD
Partner/ Market and Trading Analyst Noah's passion and experience with the markets began 20 years ago. After several years as a full time emergency medicine physician, Noah began to increase his stock and option trading knowledge and began to excel leading to several successful years of trading. Noah is currently an options specialist focusing on risk management and complex option income strategies. Noah has experience managing large assets and providing financial and market education to other medical professionals. Noah earned his BS in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Miami, FL. Noah graduated from medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine where he received the coveted Provost's Scholarship. After finishing an Emergency Medicine residency in Akron, Ohio, Noah and his wife took medical positions in South Lake Tahoe where they reside with their newborn son. Noah enjoys rock climbing and the outdoors with his family. |
